  • We were very, very impressed with the overall experience, from first inquiry call, to their first visit, quote, up to today when our new gas insert was installed. I know that we do not have an easy set up here, but the installation crew did an outstanding job of tackling the situation, and they still finished it all on time. Everyone at the company went out of their way to make sure that we enjoy all aspects of this purchase experience. I had 5 companies in here for quotes, and none came close to Lakeside's overall proposal. I have already recommended Lakeside to friends, and I will continue to do so.

  • Our Mezzo fireplace was installed by the dealer our builder used and we were never happy with the flame. You could barely see it. We had the service tech from Lakeside come out. He found the glass media had been improperly placed over the burners as well as the logs being incorrectly placed. We are now very happy with our fireplace and the flame.

But even more importantly is that the staff, from sales to installers, are professional, curteous, caring and excellent at what they do. I can't say these things about every contractor we hired for our remodel project, but Lakeside Fireplace receives an A+. Highly recommend!!

  • Last year, when our fireplace “died”, we called out a different company who was very quick to tell us the part we needed (pilot assembly) was no longer available and we’d have to replace the ENTIRE unit (to the tune of about $5,000!). We decided to instead just have a non-functional fireplace! Now we are selling our condo and as part of the sale, we had to get the fireplace fixed. THANK GOODNESS for Lakeside Fireplace!! We called them on a Friday morning, they came out that same day to make the assessment and gather the info (they did agree it was the pilot assembly that needed replacing). A couple hours later we received a call that the part was IN STOCK and we set up the repair for the following Friday. The tech was friendly enough, but we just stayed out of his way and let him work. 1.5 hours later, we – well, the new owner-to-be – has a functioning fireplace… at a MUCH easier to swallow price of only $300! Also, as a part of the sale, we needed an additional piece of paperwork. I gave their office a heads up that we would need it, and was told upon completion of the job, it wouldn’t be a problem. Once the job was job, I emailed them again to let them know, and within minutes I had the document we needed. I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience – with the techs and the office! I’m leaving the contact information for the owner-to-be of our unit as well, in the event she ever needs anything in the future.
